Thursday evening, Lake Chad Café, 1712 S Jackson St, Seattle, 7:30 to 10. NO COVER. Full Bar. The Lake Chad Café is a very cool, intimate Café Lounge. You sit right up next to THE BAND, so you can’t miss a BEAT or a WORD in a SONG!

The last time I was there, Frank’s KILLER version of Tupac’s How Do You Want It  included the THIRD Verse by AUDIENCE DEMAND!  Frank prefaced it with, “If anyone thinks they might be offended by the lyrics, LEAVE NOW!” OF COURSE, no one did!  And by the end, he had EVERYONE singing with him, “HOW DO YOU WANT IT, HOW DO YOU FEEL!!!”  Wild, baby!

YOU’VE GOT TO BE THERE at the end of the evening when Frank ASKS the question, “WHAT TIME IS IT?” and crushes Five Minutes to Rock The House! THERE’S UNBELIEVABLE ENERGY IN THE HOUSE! You’re apt to find yourself up on top of your own table!

ANOTHER ‘Mango Tango’ NIGHT!

The Change Your Food – Change Your Life! Good Food Girl, NATASHA!

We were there for just a few minutes when a lady came over to our table and said to NATASHA, “I read all about YOU on FACEBOOK!”

Herman Brown of The Legendary  SEPTIMUS had joined his OZONE Brothers in California a couple of weeks ago for a funk revival.  Santa Ana, CA!

Ozone (American band)  From Wikipedia

OZONE was an Funk and R&B group during the late 70s and early 80s, signed to Motown Records.

HISTROY: When the Nashville funk band The Endeavors broke up in 1977, three members, Benny Wallace, Jimmy Stewart and Charles Glenn formed a new group, calling it Ozone. The trio later recruited trumpeter Thomas Bumpass, saxophonist and vocalist William “Billy” White, saxophonist and vocalist Ray Woodward, guitarist Greg Hargrove and drummer Paul Hines. In 1981 guitarist Herman Brown replaced Greg Hargrove[1]

“Right on HB, I heard it on the radio the other night on a funk station and I remembered that you wrote that and other songs with Ozone and I thought Herman Brown, is one great musician and friend that I love. He is one of the best, in the west.” – Jerome Gates
